Warangal city is Recognized as one of the best heritage cities of India, Warangal is situated 145 km away from Hyderabad in Telangana state. The fifth largest city in the state, its name is derived from the word Orugallu: Oru, which means one and Kallu means stone. The city was also known as Ekasila Nagaram.
Warangal was the capital of the Kakatiya kingdom which ruled between 12th and 14th century. Prola Raja of Kakatiya is credited with built the town in the 12th century. The Kakatiyas, who ruled for more than 200 years, have left many grand monuments and architectural marvels like the famous Warangal Fort, Swayambhu Temple and many other ancient structures. In February 2013, Warangal was accorded World Heritage city status by UNESCO. Government of India’s Tourism Ministry also recognized the city as the Best Heritage City.

1)Bhadrakali temple

Bhadrakali temple is one of the beautiful temples in warangal. I just love the architecture of the temple. It is so beautiful. It is one of the most ancient temples of India. Bhadrakali temple is the oldest temples India that are dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali. Located on top of a hill, between the city of Warangal and Hanamkonda, by the side of Bhadrakali Lake, it is an ancient temple which was originally built during the Chalukyan reign in 625 AD.

2) Warangal Fort

This is the best tourist attraction in Warangal that is worth visiting is the Warangal Fort. Built on a hillock Ekashila in 13th century, this fort is one of the architectural masterpieces of Kakatiya Dynasty. Constructed by King Ganapatideva and later by his daughter Rani Rudrama, Warangal Fort is symbolic of the historical opulence of the region during the reign of Kakatiya Kingdom.
It is a prominent landmark of the Telangana State, presenting a perfect example of architectural excellence and historical richness. Warangal Fort impresses every visitor with its imposing structure. 3)Kakatiya Musical Garden

Kakatiya Musical Garden is renowned for its daily show of a musical fountain with dancing lights. It is situated near the famed Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal, Andhra Pradesh. Kakatiya Musical Garden is spread over an extensive area of more than 15 acres. There is an artificial lake here where you can go for boating. When you go on a trip to Warangal this is one venue you should never miss. Children and young adults will have a lot of fun while adults and seniors can revel in the pleasant ambience and relax.

4) Vana vignan Kendra

Also called as Mini Zoo. Warangal District Administration has constructed the zoo to protect and preserve the sanctity of nature. It was opened for public in 1985. The zoo serves as both the educational andentertainment center.
The Central Zoo Authority of India has ordered to convert the zoo into a national zoological park in 2010.
The zoo is located on a 50-acre area, and contains a variety of species of birds, animals and reptiles. A few of those include deer, black bear, peacocks, tortoise, rabbits, and crocodiles. Zoo also has a butterfly park.

The Thousand pillars temple which is located in Hanamkonda is one of the most important parts of the Warangal City. The temple was constructed in the 1163 AD by the great Rudra Deva. Top -5 Favourite Foods

Food is everyone’s love! I JUST LOVE FOOD!! And you? Which is your favorite food item? There are many favourite foods of mine, but wanna share my most favorite food dishes here Have a look !

1) Dosa : Dosa is my most favourite breakfast. I love to eat Dosa during my breakfast.There are many varieties in Dosa onion Dosa,paper Dosa,masala Dosa e.t.c. My favourite is Masala Dosa. Yes! I can prepare Dosa very well. My favourite combination with masala Dosa is coconut chatney, What’s yours?

2) Brinjal Curry : Brinjal is my most favourite vegetable. Brinjal Curry is the very good combination for both rice as well as chapathi. Brinjal Curry tastes good with biriyani as well. I like to eat with rice because I don’t like chapathi much. Give a Try !

3) Gulab jamun :Do you love sweets? Then Gulab jamun must be your favourite sweet I guess !! Preparing Gulab jamun takes less time and it’s a very tasty and delicious sweet. I prefer MTR Gulab jamun mix.

4) Aaloo Bajji : This is my favourite snack during evening times .(I don’t prefer to eat Oil food that much) Aaloo Bajji snack is easy to prepare and tastes good with tomato chutney , If you don’t like tomato chutney you can try with a sause. Choose it for your evening snack !

5) Vegetable salad : Are you a salad lover? If yes you must be knowing about the benefits of eating vegetable salad. Mixed vegetable salad is my favourite salad. Generally I prefer add carrorts and cabbage to my vegetable salad.
